We only work with select individuals able to pass a criminal background check, we are insured, bonded and certified pet first aid and CPR by the American Red Cross.
We service the city of Long Beach and its surroundings, Los Angeles and Orange County. Please let us know if you have any questions!
President and head trainer:
Carlos
Hello, I am Carlos!
My love for dogs has turned into a business passion after adopting Trina, a formerly unwanted pet with serious behavioral issues. Trina was fearful, distrustful and scared when I met her. Today she is a well adjusted girl who trusts me and we have a very special and close bond. She is my companion and best friend, she helps me throughout the day when meeting new doggies that join our dog daycare service and even helps me to train some pups. But most importantly, she is a very happy girl today.
I am a life-long animal lover, I have been around dogs, cats and exotic pets since my childhood. I truly love animals, I love every pet under my care and being a trainer and a dog walker in Long Beach is not a part-time job for me, it is my life and my profession.
My background is in Advertising, Sales and Marketing, which changed after moving to California from the East Coast. I knew the corporate world did not make me happy, the stress and the daily grind got old. Adopting Trina made me so happy and I fell in love with her and with California so the transition was very natural. I have applied over a decade of business experience to create a company that focuses on something that I am truly passionate about.
The best advice I have received was from my mom, she said: “If you don’t want to go into a corporate office job again, don’t, life is too short, find something you enjoy.” So I did. My favorite part of this business is working with dogs that need help and getting to know them. At the end of the day, we get paid to play with puppies in California weather, it truly is a dream!
My pledge to you: You can feel safe that your pet is in the best hands: experienced, trained, certified and insured professionals who will treat your best friend as our own family.
Sincerely,
carlos | president and head trainer

General Manager, pack leader and dog training instructor:
Adriene
Hi, my name is Adriene!
I have been around dogs and cats ever since I can remember. I live with Holly and Sophie, a maltese terrier mix who I fell in love with while taking care of her and a pit bull terrier mix. They are the lights of my life and my companions and assistants.
I am in charge of new recruits for our dog daycare service, I perform personality assessments and energy level evaluations. I am a dog training instructor as well and I make recommendations for our daycare doggies that need homework.
My experience working with dogs every day has made me realize that most issues with dogs come from the amount of exercise and the type of exercise a dog gets. That is one of the best parts of being a dog walker and trainer, I get to help people better their relationship with their dogs. I have learned that a well exercised puppy is a happy and healthy puppy.
My pledge to you: I will care for your dog like it was my own, and I will do whatever I can to help you better your relationship with your pup!
Sincerely,

Long Beach dog walker and pet sitter:
Eduardo
Raised in Long Beach by a family of pet lovers in a home overflowing with animals, I found myself caring and raising birds that were laid as eggs in my very own backyard, cats that I find lonesome and lost along the road, and taking in dogs that just need one more chance. I didn’t truly value the relationships and companionship that pets, especially dogs, can offer till I truly needed it. Following the passing of two of my relatives, I was able to find great solace in the unconditional love from my dog, Apollo. That’s when I realized that I wanted animals to always be a large part of my
life. I then became much more proactive in learning all I can about animal behavior and health. I sought out resources in order to gain knowledge and experience, volunteering at shelters, fostering animals, and working with veterinarians. I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with wooftidoo, a new source that is wealthy with information and experiences. At wooftidoo I’m able to work with people who love animals just as much as I do, and that on it’s own is very exciting. I can’t wait for whatever new obstacles and challenges I will encounter, because I know that I will always show any animal love and kindness and use all of my experience and knowledge to provide that animal with the best care possible.
My pledge to you: I give my word that I will always care for your pets as if they were my own, working with each one to make them the best pet they can be. Weather the problems be big or small, I will do my best to improve the quality of life for you and your furry loved one.
Sincerely,

Jeannette
I am so happy to be a part of the wooftidoo team! I live in Long Beach with my husband and our black lab mix, Marley. Marley came into our lives about six and a half years ago when he was three. He is our second rescue dog. I can’t tell you how much Marley and his predecessor, Scuttle, have enriched our lives. They bring us so much happiness, companionship and joy. I can’t imagine life without a dog or cat to love.
I worked for many years in the corporate world and decided to make a complete change when I was laid off from my job. Having always loved animals I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do what I have always wanted to do – work with animals.
My pledge to you: You can be assured I will give your pet the best of care and treat him or her as though they were my own.

Wendy
Hello, my name is Wendy. I am very excited to be a part of the Wooftidoo team as a dog walker and pet sitter in the Long Beach area.
I have always had a great love for animals of all sorts. Which is why I am the “go to” person for dog walks, feedings and poop-duty when my friends go out of town. I have house keys and alarm codes to all my friends’ homes for that very purpose. I also enjoy volunteering at rescues as a large breed dog walker when I have spare time. My goal is to one day run and operate a rescue for all sorts of animals (domestic and farm).
My pledge to you: You can rest assured that I will always provide your pet with love, affection and respect and treat it as though it were my own. Your pet will be in great hands at all times, be it for short walks or during extended stays with me.

Long Beach dog walker, pet sitter and certified dog trainer:
Julie, CDT
Hi everybody! I’m Julie, and I live in Paramount right next to Long Beach. I was raised in a family that has always loved animals, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to share my life with dogs, cats, parrots, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, fish, iguanas, geckos, and more. I feel comfortable around animals of any species, and I just don’t feel right if I don’t have one of my dogs by my side!
I started working for a pet store in 2004, and I became their dog trainer in 2006. I had always known that I wanted to have a career working with animals. My work training dogs there inspired me to learn more about animal behavior and training. In 2008, I started studying with Animal Behavior College; after I graduated as a certified dog trainer, I trained and walked dogs on my own and was an assistant trainer in Lomita in my spare time. These days, I volunteer at the Wildlife Waystation in the Angeles National Forrest and at the Seal Beach Animal Shelter. And now, thanks to Wooftidoo, I get to continue working with wonderful dogs and their loving owners!
I am the proud pet parent to my three dogs: a 9-year-old black & tan coonhound/pincer mix, a 3-year-old red-nosed pit bull/German shepherd mix, and a 3 year old chihuahua, and to my 2 year old cat, my baby green iguana, and my beta fish. I am indescribably thankful for my beautiful late keeshond/elkhound mix, Koko, who inspired me to make animals and their care my life’s work.
My pledge to you: I will consider your pet as part of my family, because he or she is such an important part of yours. Your fur baby will be in safe, experienced hands, and I will give you any help you might need to make your bond with him or her even stronger.
Sincerely,
julie | Long Beach dog walker, pet sitter and certified dog trainer

Yazmin
Hello! My name is Yazmin...
And I have a 6 year old Chihuahua mix named Mezkal that I adore with all my life. All my friends and relatives know my love for animals, I have a greater understanding and respect for them since having my own dog.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno. I have worked in the social services field for the past 5 years and I have greatly enjoyed it. However, I have always had an interest in working with animals which is why I decided to become a professional dog walker and pet sitter in Los Angeles.
Mezkal and I are great walkers and enjoy the outdoors. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I believe that all animals deserve to be treated with respect, love and understanding. As a pet owner I understand how our pets are special and part of our family. I honestly feel that our world would be a better place if we all treated each other with respect, love and understanding and that includes our animals. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me.
My pledge to you: I will always treat your pet with the love, respect and understanding that it deserves. You can rest assured that your pet will enjoy his or her walks and will be safe under my care.

Orange County dog walker and pet sitter:
Lizzie
Hi there! My name is Lizzie and I live in northern Orange County, in Fullerton to be exact with my boyfriend Oliver and my three large babies Berdoo, Bullwinkle and Captain E.O. I have worked in the pet community doing rescue, pet services, and fostering for the past three years. I love how pet friendly southern California is and take my babies everywhere, camping, hiking, and biking.
My love of pets started early, I remember being 10 and begging for a puppy, my parents did the right thing and went out and got me a rescue dog and brought it home saying “she’s small so she’s like a puppy right?”. I fell in love with that little cocker spaniel I named Chelsea on the spot. She was my sister, best friend, and most trusted confidante. As I got older I realized I was just an animal person, and in high school I was always bringing home strays, whether they were kittens, dogs, of even injured wildlife.
When I moved to California I went to the Humane Society to pick out a dog and ended up coming home not with a little fluffy dog like I wanted but a long lean GSD mix we named Captain. But I was so touched by how many dogs were in need of homes I decided to start volunteering with a rescue, and then started fostering. Through that process I took in many different doggies and fell in love with two more big babies, Bullwinkle and Berdoo. Through my days fostering I learned that EVERY animal needs a different type of treatment to help them be the best pet they can be. I’ve taken in dogs that were afraid of being touched and turned them into outgoing snuggle bugs, and wild jumpy over excited dogs into easy going well manned babies and gotten them great homes!.
I met Carlos at wooftidoo as a client and when he saw my gentle hand and knowledge about dogs he asked me to join the team, so today I am a client turned team member. I love animals, big or little, cat or dog it doesn’t matter because there is nothing better than I could be doing.
My pledge to you: To treat your baby like my own, spoil them with walks, play time, and affection. I will find what works best for each pet to be happy, healthy, and always be gentle and caring with them.
Sincerely,
lizzie | Long Beach pack leader
